WOMEN’S AID X MERMAN:

VAN WIFE

Here’s the thing, when you see amazing opportunities come into the building, you do everything in your power to jump on that project. Case in point, when the brief came in to work with Sharon Horgan’s production company Merman to create LADbible’s first short film and accompanying social first campaign to highlight coercive behaviour against woman, you jump hard.

And what a pay off. First of all working with the incredible team at Merman and the most grounded and talented Director Rachel Stubbings was such an incredible experience. Working with them across every moment from scripting all the way to the final edit really earned my first Executive Producer credit.

But as well as creating a short film, partnering with ACD Carol Bailey, we led the charge on creating a social first sister campaign ‘Spot The Flags’ which saw me working with multiple internal LADbible teams to create bespoke content which lived in the film's world whilst also telling real stories. But don’t take my word for it, check it all out at it’s own hub here.

And all the work paid off with the short film winning a Kinsale Shark and a British Arrow, whilst the social campaign bagging LADbible’s first British Arrow. Nailed it.
