BBC Radio 1 - Piano Sessions

Phoebe Bridgers X Arlo Parks

Due to Covid - 19, Radio 1 has been hosting a series of ‘piano sessions’ where artists would perform and record intimate piano versions of their songs. I was approached by the Phoebe Bridgers management and label to direct and shoot one of these sessions, where she would be accompanied by the incredible Arlo Parks.

This was my first shoot with the Covid-19 restrictions , so nerves were high as hell! But with a minimal budget and quick turnaround I made two simple but effective videos for Phoebe’s ‘Kyoto’ and a cover of Radiohead’s ‘Fake Plastic Trees’, which is (excuse my swearing) fucking phenomenal!
